Perfect for a quiet getaway
First off, the owners were really friendly and made sure we felt right at home. I loved that the breakfast was freshly cooked to order, and it was simply amazing, just what you need to start the day right.
Wasn’t exactly cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for.

What a cozy little place! I particularly loved the darts game with the locals and their home-cooked meals smacked of true pub comfort. Staying here felt like hanging out with friends rather than just visiting a hotel. The walking distance to attractions is super handy too!
Felt like a VIP, nothing to complain about.

Conveniently located just a short stroll from the town centre, the room was clean and tidy, providing a restful night's sleep. Parking was hassle-free, and I appreciated the coffee and tea amenities available. despite these positives, the exterior was quite overgrown and appeared neglected. the response from the staff during our concerns about discomfort was surprisingly defensive, indicating a lack of adequate customer service.

Cozy pub vibe with friendly locals and great home-cooked meals. Shower pressure was weak, and the bathroom felt cramped. Darts game made our stay more enjoyable.

Really enjoyed my 2 nights in the twin room. Super comfy bed, quiet and clean. The breakfast selection was freshly cooked and delish. Owners were super friendly and gave great local tips. The pub on site was handy, and somehow noise-free! Loved the charming vibe and the cozy atmosphere.

It was just a suitable option for strolling in Cirencester with good price-value balance. The room was spacious and had a comfy bed, which was a nice surprise. Make sure to ask for a mirror near a plug socket for easier hair drying.

Loved the homemade yogurt at breakfast—it was an absolute treat. Plus, the bar's got a great vibe with locals, making it a fab spot to unwind over a pint. The room was comfy and served as a perfect base for exploring Cirencester!
The shower was unfortunately not much more than a dribble, and the bathroom was a bit squeezy with nowhere to stash toiletries. Still, a touch of TLC would make this gem truly shine.

I spent three nights at the Talbot Inn and truly enjoyed my stay. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the town center. My room was nice, clean, and had everything working properly. The owners provided a super friendly welcome and shared great tips for local attractions. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and delicious, with classic options that hit the spot. I loved chatting with the locals at the pub, really created a cozy atmosphere. the main entrance could use some attention, and the lighting for the steps to the room was inadequate. A better selection of cask ales would be a welcome addition too. a solid and friendly stay, just a few tweaks needed to elevate the experience.
